FULL TIME SATELLITE TRANSMISSION SERVICES
The CMC provides a wide-range of satellite-based transmission services for video transport, IPTV, and data delivery including:
- Satellite transponder and bandwidth management
- Space segment acquisition
- Signal monitoring
- Consulting services
- Conditional access receiver authorization and blackout management services
- Encoder management
- Compression and encryption
Our experts are dedicated to providing custom solutions in both HD and SD for your full-time satellite transmission needs.
The CMC is located in the Mountain time-zone, on the 105th meridian, with visibility into both the Atlantic and Pacific Operating regions, making it the largest U.S. region with one-bounce satellite transmission providing customers with real-time connections to six of the seven continents in one business day. Titan Earth Station, located a few miles away from the company's main campus, is home to 36 dedicated uplink antennas and can handle both C-band and Ku-band formats. Currently, Titan uplinks over 450 full-time channels broadcast in MPEG2 or MPEG4 both domestically and internationally.
OCCASIONAL USE SATELLITE SERVICES
The CMC transmits one-time or occasional events with the same high quality and attention to detail as we do for full-time content distribution. Our on-site, occasional use teleport is equipped with 25 antennas fully dedicated to occasional services. Occasional services include:
- Uplinks – C-band and Ku-band including analog, DVB, and HD formats
- Downlinks – C-band and Ku-band
- Access to satellites serving multiple continents for international transmission and turns
- Local HD and SD fiber connectivity through the Vyvx-Level 3 Fiber Network
The CMC can also assist with occasional satellite and fiber capacity, full event coordination, compression and encryption services, tape playback or recording, production services or just about anything you may require for that last-minute or special request.
